BROKEN BONE!

This is the clearest picutre I could get of the thumb.Trenton slammed his thumb in the car door and pulled it out before the door could be opened! OUCH!!!! It kept swelling so we went to get an x-ray. Trenton told him, "My thumb feels like there is a band-aid on it tied in a knot really tight." The doctor confirmed the top of his thumb was fractured and go ahead and call this broken bone #1. Great! I figured it would happen, but not SO soon. He advised to be as careful as a four year old boy could be and just let it heal itself. He decided against splinting it because it probably wouldn't remain in place. SO we are waiting for it to get better. It has gotten a lot worse before it is getting better! Now he says his thumb just "feels like iron."

SUPER SATURDAY AT LSU!

LSU TAILGATE!!!!!
What a great fall day. It was only 85 and that is great for this time of year in Baton Rouge, Louisiana!! Here we are tailgating at Malcom and Gail's spot near Pleasant Hall. We were able to see old friends Sarah and Lisa!

Loading up the car on Lisa's patio before we head to the game. We were tailgating from 12 till about 5 pm. The Boys went to the game and the girls went to eat dinner (Mexican-go figure) and watch the game on TV. John and Michael called at 10 letting us know they were sitting in traffic right by the stadium.Just sitting. They walked into the house 12 miles away from the stadium at 1:30 am...... That is why I watch the game from home.
Angie and I enjoyed visiting and seeing old college friends. It was quite an adventure!

Michael, Sophie and Lisa how sweet-sun is a little bright, yes we still got sun on our arms and faces...

John and I with Sophie. I am going back in November when she is baptized, she will be Godchild #4. I try to keep them holy! :)

GEAUX TIGERS! NOT LSU YET, BENTON

What a way to start the weekend. Trenton's Hunny dropped him off to me at school for the pep rally Friday! He had such a great time!!

Here he is thinking he is already a big football player with one of my students, Ricky. He was able to walk in with the Senior football players under the tiger into the gym!!! Wow! How exciting for a 4-year old!!

Hanging out with the tigers before the pep rally starts!

GIRL GIGGLES!!!!

Sometimes you just have one of those days when you need some giggles with good girlfriends!!! Today is one of those days, this week actually!!!
This picture of SOS & I ALWAYS makes me smile!!!! We miss y'all so much!

This other one helps me crack a smile as well. Just sitting doing nothing and we could be rolling with laughter. This trip was last spring break, I am looking forward to another fun trip soon!!! As far as this week we have been busy with class, Daddy's Day at pre-k 4, Church nite, and BUNKO tonight!! WHoo-HOO I am ready. Tomorrow we have a going away party at Nicky's (Mexican food yummy!) for our SRO officer and Saturday John and I are headed to the LSU game. So maybe I will catch my breath early next week, oh never mind silly ......that is HOMECOMING WEEK! But seriously we are staying with friends, tailgaiting and going to the game. Pray for fall-like weather, anything under 90 would be great for Baton Rouge this time of year. GEAUX TIGERS!!

I can't wait for another nite like this one at the Steakhouse this summer! It was such a good time!

And now they are all grown up and here we are! Nikki is getting married! :) I can't believe they are old enough for this. We all wish Nikki and Ryan (hubby to be-same name as her brother!) the best!! You deserve all you hope for Nikki! We love you..........................

Bowl-A-Rama

Start the day off right with a good breakfast. I must admit these are the prettiest eggs I have ever made. He ate like he hadn't eaten in a week, so I guess they were as good as the looked!!!

These are a few pics of having fun at the bowling alley. The girls are related to the birthday boy-Trenton's friend Grayson.

They had fun bowling and dancing to the Marcarana, Cupid Shuffle and other fun line dancing kind of songs with the black light swirling and making everything glow!
Trenton is here with one of my former students and his friend right before digging in to pizza and cake. The party was tons of fun and the kids were so funny to watch bowl. He is sleeping off his big morning now and I am off to a wedding shower. It has been a pretty busy week with my graduate class, church class on Wednesday, bunko on Thursday. I am looking forward to watching the LSU game tonight with friends and just RELAXING!! Geaux Tigers.
